Well, turns out I’m not really a fan of the Windows icons for EVE either, so I set about finding a replacement icon, and what’d’you’know – there aren’t really any (please correct me, and direct me, if I’m wrong).
So I made my own.
I made two simple versions of the Trinity logo, and I encourage anyone who knows how to flip a pixel to try and make their own – EVE really needs custom icons (IMO anyway).
UPDATE: I found a tool that could extract the high quality icons from the EVE executable, so I’ve added them here as well. Turns out I was VERY close to the official icon with my 16×16 version… funny.
|Official||Basic||Basic with planet|
(note: All “Basic” (and “Basic with planet”) icons were done from scratch in Inkscape (16×16 in Gimp) – they are not derivative works)
